Donna Marks is a Mortgage Adviser with over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry, mainly in residential lending and management with a major NZ bank, and three years with a NZ Owned Trustee Company handling various aspects of estate planning, such as Wills, EPOA’s, Estates, and Family Trusts.

Covering the Wellington region, Donna offers residential lending advice to first home buyers, investors or buyers and sellers, leveraging her knowledge and connections with various lenders to provide tailored solutions that meet her clients’ unique needs,

Described as caring, trusted, with a friendly and empathetic approach, Donna always takes the time to understand her clients’ individual needs and objectives to help them to be in the best position to be able to buy their dream home or investment property.

In addition to her extensive background in the mortgage industry, Donna has personally owned several investment properties. This firsthand experience equips her with a practical understanding of the associated risks and enables her to provide valuable insights to her clients.

Donna holds a Diploma in Business Studies with an endorsement in Financial Planning, along with Certificate IV in Financial Services (Personal Trust Administration), NZQA Level 5 Certificate in Financial Services to give regulated financial advice and the Residential Property Lending Strand. Her commitment to ongoing learning and professional development reflects her dedication to staying well-informed in the ever-evolving financial landscape.

Donna was awarded New Member of the Year in 2020 in the Astute Recognising Excellence Awards, in her first year as an independent Mortgage Adviser. She has settled more than $60m of loans in the last 5 years and has a 5-star Google rating from many of her satisfied clients.

Beyond her professional achievements, Donna values her family life. Happily married, with two children and four beautiful grandchildren she is very proud of. Outside of work Donna enjoys spending time with friends and family, gardening, knitting & crocheting toys & blankets.
